Yup Kodak Sharepoint here too model c633 and like it however given the option I'd LOVE a Nikon D50 but the wife says no. Maybe someday I'll be able to sneak it by..LOL

Been out choppin wood today and had the kids packin in what I split, that will workup a sweat. Yes I use a maul for the exercize, my shoulders and back are sore. They don't know it yet but my little helpers earned a nice treat today.

Next up on my list is finding some Food! then the recliner and something like Broken Trail or Lonesome Dove.

Hey guys. I hope you all had a happy new year. It's of to a good start for 'ol Tzone already. The Vikings put a whoopin' on the Giants for starters.

The best part so far though..... I got two new guns this year already!

I bought a Glock 23 from my BIL, with 4 hi cap mags, with a lazermark, laser sight, and night sights.

and I wondered into Cabela's yesterday with my BIL and my son to kill some time while the girls were shopping. Of course we found our way into the Gun Library. As we were poking around, I stumbled across a beautiful tang safety, Ruger M77 in 7x57, for $550 It is used very little, if at all.

I asked the gun dude if it has a box and the rings...he checked and told me no on both. I threw it back on the shelf and poked around the store for about an hour.

I stopped back before we left, and picked it up again. Hemmed and hawed about it, and set it back down. The guy asked if I was going to buy it, and said, "well it doesn't have any rings with it..will ya take $475"? "Sure" he tells me. smile

Laser sights, night sights, Oh my! Those old flying bears and swamp squid/lizards whatever are going to catch hell this coming year. laugh

Now I've got to get over to Black River Falls to check on that 6.5 Swede for sure.

Hey Chickenbuckers. I posted this in the Kids section too, but in case you guys don't get over that way...here is a little bit of what happend at the tzone house on Christmas morning. I was so busy at work last week I never got around to it.

My boy asked Santa for a gun for Christmas so he could go hunting with his daddy.....well, that is about all this Daddy's heart could take.

IS THIS WHAT I THINK IT IS?

Mrs. Claus was just as surprised, because she had no idea Santa was bringing that. that sneak little Santa.

He was a very happy boy. Momma was a little worried about it, but that's what Momma's do.

He's a big shot now, and gets to keep it in the gun cabinet with the rest of them. We have to go look at it several times a week. grin

Here is the rest of the stash from this weekend. Mini man was with me in Cabela's when I bought the Ruger, once I was done and put it in the cart he was quick to the draw in claiming the rifle as his, by saying, "is this mine too Dad?" Any guess as to what I told him. grin

tzone,

Does this mean you picked up a 7x57 in place of the 6.5x55 you were leaning towards? 7x57 is another classic caliber I would like to own someday...
