The knife my wife ordered for my Christmas present came in today and she let me look at it before she took it back to wrap. Here are a couple of pictures I took before she got it back.

I like the looks of that knife. What steel does Winston use? Any other particulars?

I did not find a website for him though.

Joe,

I have seen some of your posted pictures and they are very nice looking knives.

I did not have time to do much more than look mine over and take a few pictures before the wife wrapped it and placed it under the tree.

From what I seen the fit and finish is excellent and the knife felt good in the hand. I will need to get out after Christmas and kill a hog to get it bloody.

Very nice RNF! I really like the #14. It's the only model from Mr. Winston that I have but I'm thinking about a #12.

Enjoy it,

I have a older model Winston #14. Mine has a cow bone handle and screws holding the slats on the handle. Mine is a little more beat up though and I hope to keep beating on it. Mr. Winston makes very good knives.

I am liking the knife very much, feels good in the hand and the fit and finish on handles and blade is very nice.

Need to get it bloody.

Brad,

She asked what I wanted for Christmas and I told her what to order. Since we have a anniversary in March she has ordered me a #4 for it.
