Don't get hung up on the tube lenght. That sounds like a steal of a deal. Worst case is you don't like it you can sell it for a profit. the action and the stock are worth the price.

I'd not sweat a 24 in 264. Actually have one in the safe with a 20". Burn it up, tube it with what you want later!

My pard and I made it into a switch barrel. Its got 4 Sako factory tubes for it and one Shilen. The 264 is on it now. Get it! Waiting for a stock...... a McMillan of course.

The are kinda hard to find. Seems like the 264 is making a comeback. I load 140 ballistic tips and partitions for mine.
