BEWARE!!!
The other morning I went out. As I stepped on my bottom rung of the ladder it broke and slid down. I said to myself "no biggy...I'll just have it welded real good and every other rung too AFTER the season".
The next day as I went to go up again....THE NEXT RUNG UP BROKE! Now I was real concerned. I continued to climb up carefully inspecting each weld on each side ot the rungs as I went up. To my surprise...I spotted 4 other cracks in the welds. They could let loose at any time.
Now I was real upset and decided to take the stand down and bring it back. Dicks took it back without question.
Now I only weigh 230 and believe that Summit REALLY REALLY should spend more time welding the rungs on instead of just tack welding.
Yes...I did fall a little. But did not get hurt. If one of those top rungs would have broke...and if I got hurt...they'd have a lawsuit on thier hands for sure as I cannot afford to be laid up.
Ridiculas IMO for a new stand less than a month old.

Thanks SubSeven!
I have one I have not put up yet. I'll check the welds for sure and reweld if necessary. It's a shame Summit, with their good name would allow this to happen. I really like the design of the Mega Sampson.
