Good looking perch too. Good day you guys had for sure.

Betsy and I were in MN today. We had her company Christmas party last night. We stayed at a heck of a nice hotel. Lots of Cowboys fans in there, so it was fun harassing them for most of the night, and through breakfast today. grin

Dave, looks like you really have to rough it in that ice shanty. How big was the largest perch?

I had a dream about lake of the woods last night, I think I might need to make a venture with the portable up there this coming weekend

That seems about normal for around here. Many companies don't have them until after the Christmas season because so many people are gone, or all the spots are booked. The facilities being booked is a bigger deal here, because there aren't too many places in our town that can handle it, so folks spread them out.

We don't have our Christmas party until Jan. 30th.

It was a fun time, and we got to hang out with Redneck, which is always fun, he's good people. Packers fan or not. smile

I know of several companies that had their christmas parties in June or July. Easier to get a place to host them and didn't add to the pressure of the holidays.

we get em quite a bit better than that but it's hard to not take em home when they get up to about a foot or betterm even though I hate cleaning them.

Perch are tough on a filet knife for sure. Ever try a electric filet knife? They do work. Largest Perch I've seen was 15 3/4". Thing must have gone over 2 lbs.

he had a blast!!!!!!!
no fish were caught, but he caught on quick
first he watched

then he tried two at once

then he caught on to focusing on one for right now

Dave, I saw a Mr Twister knife somewhere in your previous posts. They make a replacement blade for their saltwater version(same knife...blue packing)called the Pirahnna that is only about 3/8 wide and has real fine serrations. They work like a champ on big perch and all walleyes...but especially the perch. Inexpensive like all replacment blades and we have them in stock locally if you'd like a set.

Hey Muffy, sounds like your dad & Lonnie are coming up Tuesday?

Maybe I should go out there tonight & move the fish houses & see if they can find them when they come up? grin
