My 336 shoots about 3 inches to the right at 50 yards, so I need to adjust the sight. Can you drift a Marlin 336's rear sight, or is this one of those that has a wedge-shaped dovetail?

You should be able to adjust it with a brass punch just fine. I have had to do that on mine before so you should be alright, just make sure your punch is brass so you dont mar your finish should you slip. Ryan
