Ordered my new 336 LTD ("Guide Gun" chambered in .35 Remington) today. 1 of 1000 edition contracted by Davidson's. Should arrive in about a week.

What's different about it from the regular .35 Rem. 336?

hey BlkHawk73<BR>as you can probably can see i am from maine too and i have a Marlin 35Rem in just the plain old 336 and i wouldnt have any other gun for hunting here in maine.. in my personal opinion i like the regular old 336 better than the guide gun. but have fun.<BR>YoungHunter

That would sure be a honey for canoeing/camping in my area, but I wish they would lose the porting. It's almost an insult to consumers on a .35 Rem., imo. Does this mean campers should sleep with shooting muffs on, in case of a mid-night bear episode?
