Looking to go on a lion hunt in the next year or so. Whats the going rate these days on an A+ lion hunt? Any suggestions or references?

A hunt can between 2 and 5 grand without tags or a license. Don't depend on the price to determine what grade the hunt is. I recommend White Mountain Outfitters out of Corvallis MT. Lots of outfitters are very good at finding cats, but some can be real A holes, especially when clients are not around. The man I recommended is not. You will have a good time. I guarantee it.

I would highly recommend Joe Cabral (B Bar C Outfitters & Russell Pond Outfitters) in N. Idaho. Here is my buddies cat from this past winter. 8'-1" I'm heading back this winter.

Rob is a good outfitter.

Josh Horrocks in Northern Utah. He is 4500 plus license, but has never had a unsucsessful lion hunter. He is very honest and hard working. I will bring my post back up to the top so you can see it. The name of the post was Here kitty kitty back from utah with a big tom. Joshs websight is www.2doghuntin.com Good luck

Much like any other hunt, if just any lion is fine then your options are many and prices very reasonable. If an exceptional cat is what you are seeking then things go up in price generally. It may take several hunts to get a real trophy, but there are some guys with access to better cats than others and you pay for that. (link) http://www.tntoutfitting.com/mountainlion.html

This is a top notch guide: Mark Turner in Idaho Springs, Colorado.
How a man acts when he wins reveals part of his character, how he acts when he loses reveals the rest.
