That track makes that thing have a whole 'nuther level of cool. I love it!

What did you have to do to to get it running?

MY step dad ran of few of those old timer runs with an old ditch pickle he picked up.

Real neat Dave. I bet your FIL thought so too?

It wasn't too bad getting it going but tearing the engine down after I blew a hole in the PTO side piston was a bit of a chore..... shocked

Not kidding.

When you are powered up at cruise speed going across a field and all of the sudden it sounds like you blew a hole in a piston.... and you coast to a stop, pull the plug out & it looks like this....

well, you got problems.

Ouch!!!!! Can't help you out with a piston Dave, but I've got a collection of ones that look just like yours from my days of micro-sprint racing. In my case it was being too brave leaning out the carb jetting. They usually ran like a scalded rabbit just before that "Oh S..T" meltdown.

You threw me a bit of a curve when you said it was a Kawasaki Dave. All the Jet's I ever saw were Yamaha's. Must have been running a hot plug to put a hole in the piston or a real lean carb. Pam didn't look any to thrilled.

Good luck in your parts search.
