anyone have a scoped enfield or is it worth it? i have the no4 mk1 it needs a new barrel first.

Lots of hunters downunder scope their Enfields, so they must think it's worth the trouble, and I'm sure the Canadians do, also.
Some of them even rebarrel with custom pipes, made to normal specs, since they aren't in trenches or muddy fields any more. They seem quite happy with their choices.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

Hate to burst your bubble, but if it needs a new barrel, you need a new rifle, not a scope on that one.

the barrel's not to worn if you take a loaded round to the end of the barrel it dont come close to tuching the brass.it is worn some, probably the load im shooting im not that good with peep sights and it has a big rear aperture. it shot 1 inch to inch & a half group

I bought the side mount from Brownells but it was not stable and I ended up returning it. My gun does 3"-5" MOA off the peep sights with Selior & Bellot FMJ's

This is mine at 200 yards with a scope.
