You wouldn't want to trade with me. I actually live in western Washington. We're forty miles away from the only temperate rain forest in the world. You've never been cold until you've been out in the rain in 40 degree weather. The cold sinks right into your bones and its hell to get warm again. And this is the warmest place that I've ever lived. Actually, I'm thinking that the beaches around Panama City would be about right.

Florida's deer may not be the biggest, but where else can you start hunting the first week in Sept(south Fl) and hunt through Feb (Northwest Fl) and kill two bucks a day with no season limit. If you live in South Fl. Look at the Dupuise WMA and the Alapata Flats WMA. Pretty good deer in both. Also dont forget the year round hog hunting. When it gets to hot to hunt we go fishing and to th range.

Yes, but once I've achieved accuracy I want to use that rifle to shoot deer not targets. I'd rather hunt than F***. After 52 years in Miami I'm ready to get out, and back around normal Americans that want to be Americans. I might have to cross the Mason-Dixon line! You always take a Hunting Trip to CANADA I think MAD DOG wouldn't mind guiding you in the BIG WOODS

I'll have to recheck those regs. I have been hunting out of state for about 10 years, but always saw limits of 2 per year 1 per day. Hogs, true but only on private land not mngmt. areas. Killed lots but tough no matter where you hunt in this state on public ground. South Carolina opens Aug. 15 for rifle (or bow or muzzleloader) run what you brung and ends Jan. 1!!! Fishing? Cant beat it. Canada? I dream of that. Some day I might be able to do that. Lots of paper work for your guns though eh!

I've heard rumors that FL has some pretty decent deer hunting and deer that are actually bigger than poodles.... The only skill is learning their language. They need to learn ours! I'm not prejudice-I hate everyone. Besides, they dont hunt with Savages they like full auto. Hey?? wasn't there a thread on full auto Savage?
