Don't have a truck anymore but keep a 3" target sighted S&W 60 in the Subaru Outback. This is supplemented as needed with a Marlin lever .357 and a Benelli 12 Ga auto. Oh yeah, there is a stainless mini 14 stored by the spare tire!

When I lived in Florida I never left the house without a scoped Marlin M60 .22 LR on the backseat floor. It came in handy many times for small game shooting and plinking.
Good shooting!

FWIW:
Long Arms are not controlled in Oregon (regarding vehicular Travel).
Except, of course, when it is.
The ODFW has rules about driving around with a loaded gun while "hunting".

All my guns are truck guns, but only when they are in the truck..My 25-35 SRC seldom leaves the truck and my 222 loves to go bye-bye...there are a lot less coyotes around here these days, but apparantly the wolves are eating them too..!

I'm jealous. Yeah, these guys can all do it because they all live in states. You and I, on the other hand, live in the 'Peoples Socialist Republic of New Jersey' and we have a 'King' instead of a governor. Well, we did have a king, lets see if this new guy is any better than King Corslime. I like the Savage 24s . . . . . BM I agree, and if I could, I'd carry the Savage 24V in 357 MAX over 20 gauge in the truck. Of course, there are certain places I travel that I'd opt for the 7400 carbine in 308 with a few 10 shot clips.
Garry Trump won !!! Trying to live like a free man in the Communist Republic of New Jersey. Love your country, distrust your government. Democrats and the people who vote for them, enemies of America and a free American people

Didn't see what the boy charges for the snub-nose Stevens work.
I sold my FR-8 about a year ago; never could warm up to it.
My truck guns are: Marlin .22 Mag that shoots inside an inch @ 100, Rem 870 21-in. RC, LaRue Stealth on Daly lower that shoots way under an inch.
There's nothing you can't kill in Tennessee with one or any of those three.
got a lot of other choices, but those are the three most frequent flyers.

700 ADL in 250 Savage, w/21" barrel, seems to fit the bill. Leupold 4x in talley lows.
Sycamore
...Actually Sycamore, you are sort of right....

Picked up the donor today, going out this week. I only need to decide on barrel length.
