Some of our clients leopard hunted in Namibia:

As a matter of interest, the last one was the heaviest female we have shot so far, and with the law changing as it did in Namibia, that will probably remain the heaviest.

A beautiful animal, but one is enough for me, same with Lions, but thats just my personal opine for self as I am not a cat hunter...I spend all my time hunting buffalo if I have a choice. I love to hunt buffalo..

Cats are blind hunting for the most part and I don't like sitting in a blind all night sweating or freezing and swatting tetsis or whatever. I would do a dog hunt and shoot another Leopard or two if I got the chance..Dog hunts are exciting as cats will only push so far then they hunt you and it gets exciting at that point.

Blair,

I am going to have to take Atkinson's approach on the roos...One would be enough. Ha.

McCray,

I think Zim. Leopard with dogs is legal. Or atleast was!

Atkinson,

I prefer leopard. Mostly because of the reasons you do not! Excluding the tetsis of course. The emotional roller coaster and the battle of wills, usually your own, is what draws me to the hunt. Dont get me wrong I enjoy all hunting its just so far leopard is my favorite. I haven't gotten to experience lion yet and buff is in 2011 so I may be converted after that, but for now leopard is first. Everyone that I have talked to that has been to Africa multiple times and shot the big 5/4 usually list elephant an buffalo as their favorites to hunt...

Only one eh? laugh

Actually a big red makes a great skin, those suckers can stand 6' tall.....don't see them much any more, the greys have pushed them out of their old range............

A lot of the PH's I've discussed their favourites with; go for leopard and elephant.

MY MAN!! cool

Easily done........any rifle from a 243 up will work well.

Tie it in with Water buff and Banteng up north and you can shoot feral donkeys and camels as well..............so many ferals, so little time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome! Y'all look like you've had about all you can stand. I can see why that's your avatar. I would love to do this with dogs, but lordy, it does appear expensive.

Blair,

now if you are talking about shooting or as one very famaous PH referred to it as hell hacking then pencil me in with Ingwe. I just didn't want a hundred reds or greys that I didn't shoot to show up in a semi at my house expecting to go on display. laugh laugh
