In Spain at the moment. I'm concerned with the economic crisis pending in Europe and how that might also affect the US.
Lots of talk about how should Europe deal with finacially troubled countries like Portugal, Greece, Spain. Our financial markets are all attached. This may also prolong the US recession.
Should Europe bail out those countries? What choices do they have? What options, for instance, would Portugal or Spain have? Should they get out of the EU-may not be possible, or devalue currency or increase productivity or reduce wages? What would you do and why?

I doubt the Germans are any longer able to pick up these dead beat economies. I have no idea what options are left to them.
