So we had a worst, let's go for the positive and describe the best wild critter land or water that we have eaten.
Let's keep it 100% G rated if ya don't mind!

Elk cow (brother in law shot it so i guess it doesn't count, but man was it good!)
Tenderloins off of a young 6pt whitetail I killed last season
Quail from a hunt when I was a kid, they were wrapped in baccon and grilled
Wild Turkey (the kind with feathers) breast meat torn into "turkey" strips and deep fried in peanut oil.

I much prefer this discussion over that miserable goose I've been recalling all evening. Since others have taken liberty to name three, I will as well.
1)Angus
2)Hampshire
3)Rock Island Reds

Now if I'm sticking to wild fare, then it's:
1)Wahoo
2) Wisconsin corn-fed venison
3) grouse

I was fishing off a jetty in Panama City, Florida once and a big school of Bluefish came through. My wife and I were just kids,...camping down there and eating canned food to get by cheap, but we had an excellent fish fry at our campsight that night.
Lots of fun catching them too. Lots of people out on the jetty,...fishing was slow. All of a sudden everybody started getting hits on the Blues and it went on for several minutes.

my wife shot a fawn last year(she did it on purpose after her dad shot its mom).......took a whole front quarter, seasoned it up, wrapped it in some bacon to keep it moist and threw it in the smoker......some of the best eats of any type i have had......

1.Fresh fish from a clean Canadian Shield lake fried (I like lake trout, so cooked over the fire in foil with butter, lemon halves and onion halves).
2. A hen wild turkey we fried and ate on Thanksgiving Day in the woods over cast and a fire, replete with cracker crumb/egg breading.
3. Anything bacon wrapped in a smoker; speedgoat loin or deer loins especially.
