117 grain Remington Round Nose Core-Loct in the Roberts of course. If it was good in 1934, its good enough now.

Switching from the 120gr TSX to the TTSX in my .260 Rem. Shot two muley bucks with the TSX and have no complaints but everybody knows you're not cool unless it has a plastic tip. The new 100gr TTSX doesn't appeal to me, 120gr is as low as I care to go.
Going to work out a load with the 150gr TTSX in my 7mm SAUM. Kind of a tweener between the 140gr and 160gr for a "go hunt and seen what you can find load".
Still no cool plastic tips in .358 caliber so it still going to be the 225gr TSX in my Whelen for moose hunting. Still hoping for 225gr TTSX.

6.5 MM 100gr. TTSX.
The bullet that will once and for all end the worthless and weak existence of the anemic .257 Roberts and 7mm/08.. SMILE WHEN YOU SAY THAT!

The "Lewinsky" style bullet. It's short and fat, but it kinda sucks.

Since I acquired my .375 H&H and have it really dialed in (for big critters), the "new" sexy bullet for my small collection comes from a 30+ year-old red box. I tried a few of the plastic tipped fancy stuff in my '06 and they all did fine, but I pulled out some 150gr Hornadys from the aforementioned box and loaded them up. Recoil is light, accuracy is nice and velocity is good enough. With that .375 ready to go, my '06 doesn't need anything more.
Now if that .375 goes (I got the camera bug bad and may need some funds), the next "new" sexy bullet will go toward turning my 7x57 into a mid-range thumper. Either a 160gr Nosler Partition, or a 175 grainer of some sort may get the call. Seems I just like going retro I guess.

I want to try the ultra gay sounding Deep Curls from Speer. We'll see if I can get some before Spring Bear. If not, I'll try some for deer and elk. 150 Grain 30 cals of course.

My 7x57 is due to arrive in late-April and I have a couple red boxes of my own set aside for it... 175 gr RN Interlocks! Retro is "in," no?
