I sold my birch stock set on eBay for over $150.00 and replaced it with Walnut for less than $90.00. Scope is a Bushnell Banner 1.5-4.5X32.

Good trade

I got the buttstock here in the classifieds and the forearm from eBay. The buttstock is off a 336 and the forearm is off an 1894.

Swamp, you got $150 for birch stock with the pressed in checkering design? Is there something special about those stocks that make them sell for that amount?

I prefer the new look. They can keep the pressed birch stock. Did you price the stock through Marlin? I wonder what the price would be through them?
