Well guys what is it? I used to carry a Benchmade auto all the time but after enough freak out reactions from folks I switched it up. I ended up with a Kershaw leek that I really like. Slim, sleek and still fast. Love it!

Until I loose it (!) my CRK Sebenza. Before I got that one it was a Benchmade 707 that served me well. I still have it and it is ready to go.............

Kershaw Whirlwind, the steel is not very good but it handles nice, opens fast and closes with one hand via lock liner and its not an expensive knife, so when it comes up missing or brakes form the total ammount of miss use it gets on a daily basis it wont be a big deal.
I have had the same one for about 4 or 5 years now and its been awesome, sharpens easy and holds an edge pretty well for 440A.

I drag a Mini-Grip with D2 around most of the time clipped to my front pocket. If the days activities call for something more discrete I drop a AJ Russell Muskrat pattern with stag scales in my pocket.

The knife that most often is with me would be a combination of my Leatherman and the Victorinox Trekker.

Blade-tech Ganyana and a Case damascus muskrat every day. Either a Dozier, Ingram, or Crotts fixed lade when I'm working.

If I'm gonna be out and about in the woods I usually take my Benchmade Griptilian. For just everyday at work though I carry Dozier design KA-BAR because it has thin scales and I don't even notice it in my pocket. It is not an expensive knife, around $19 from AG Russell but holds an edge pretty good, touches up easily and is just the right size for pocket carry. I even removed the thumbstud so it wouldn't start wearing a hole in my pocket. It opens quite easily. It is the mini model with a 2 1/2" blade.
I have several fixed blade knives, mostly Blackjack or Bark River and I sometimes grab one of those.

This one, a liner lock I made about 10 years ago, out of some left over pieces. 154 CM blade.

95% of the time its a Buck Trapper, an older one with the standard issue black scales. Got home from being out of town one week, it lay in the mailbox as a gift from croldfort. He'd read on here how I'd lost a Trapper that I really liked and dropped it off on his way through.
I tried carrying various liner-locks with the clip to hold them high in your pocket. No matter how much I liked the knife, I couldn't get used to them. My habit is my keys, change, and knife go in my right pocket, phone in left pocket, and wallet in right rear pocket. With the liner locks clipped to my pocket, my hand would get scraped when going for my keys. Had to give it up, because my mind can't wrap around the idea of putting keys and change in the left pocket.
