Disregard the runt deer in the pic, I'm wondering if anyone knows where this is in Idaho. I've been looking and can't narrow it down. And no, that's not the Sawtooths in the background.

I can't, but Logcutter (Jayco) might be able to identify it.

How did the deer take the picture with the camera fastened on his back? I'm thinking it looks like different places I've hunted in Idaho, but I couldn't say where. You're looking for someone who has stood right there and remembers that particular view, and I'm thinking unless he took the picture it ain't going to happen.
I saw a movie where only the military and the police had guns. It was called Schindler's List.

How did you break a buck to saddle? I'm wondering if it is up near Sagehen coming in from the Sweet and Ola side? Just a guess. - Denny

Curious about one thing, are you absolutely sure it is in Idaho?
As others have mentioned the view from that ridge could be from a number of different places.
Just a thought.

Interesting composition in that photo. Never would have thought of shooting that or any photo with the antlers and the deers head in the foreground.... Nice work....

That could be almost anywhere in central Idaho. I will hazard a guess, though-the Selways??

I don't know where it is, but I'd love to say it was my backyard.

Just a thought. I'm 100% sure it's Idaho. And you're correct as well as other posters, it could be hard to nail the spot down. Anyone want to see a pic going the other way, towards the deer?

Yes, I'd be very interested in seeing it. Is this a fairly recent picture?

Yes, I'd be very interested in seeing it. Is this a fairly recent picture? Yes it's been within the last 6 months. Here's a couple of pic's. Maybe it will help narrow down the area.

Looks similar to some of the Challis & Lemhi country.
I'm going with looking across the Lemhi valley.

I've shot branch-antlered elk that were smaller than that! That's one heavy deer. The horns, not the body . An elk smaller than that bodywise would have milk on it's lips.

Not part of the Selway I was ever in. Hope that helps.
