Just got an email from midway saying the new bullets are in stock. This should be just the ticket for my 25-06 senderdo. I'm trying to figure out what the BC is, does anyone know?

Keep us all upadted on how you like them, if I wasn't away at school now I'd have ordered a box too. This bullet should be just perfect for all medium sized game.

Thanks-I just ordered two boxes- I just called Nosler yesterday and the customer service rep didn't know when they would be available and the Shooter's Pro Shop guy told me he didn't know either. Its funny how Midway has them before the Nosler Outlet store....

Great! Now, how much do I back off from the 115gr BTs using Ramshot Magnum or RL-19/22 in my 25-06????

I just ordered 2 boxes also. I would bet that Nosler is letting their distribution network have the new bullets first before they allow it to be sold on their site. That's just good marketing and things like that keep distributors happy. I bet they end up at shooters in about 2 weeks, maybe a month.

I hope they shoot, and I hope they retain enough wt to be a good mule deer on down load in my 257 wby. Seems like a nice bridge between 100 grain bullet, and 115 or 120 grain bullet in the 25.

I wonder if any load data will be in the box of bullets. If not, I will just take the 115 grain Nosler data compare it to the 100 grain data and go from there.

MOA,
Thanks for the head up on Midway. I just got finished ordering some of the 110 Accubonds for my .25/06 Weatherby Vanguard. Since this rifle will put every bullet weight I have tried between 90 and 120 grains into 1 inch or less, I have high hopes for the 110AB.

It should be just the ticket for anything from gophers to Mule Deer and maybe even Elk.
Good Shooting,
HBB

Can't wait to get my hands on some of these for my 257 Bob. I bet it will be a great deer/antelope/caribou bullet. Of course, I will have to wait an additional month here in Canada....bummer! EE.

One of my ranges is myback yard, don't have to go far next one is about 100yards away. The other I just shoot out of the reloading rooms window 320 yards. And yes I did 3600 fps around 1 inch not very happy with them as of yet.

The barnes 100tsx are at .5 3700 fps. still need to work on both loads going to see if I can get 3800 to 3900 with 100s and 3700 with 110s

The 110s seem to be grouping OK (.5-.75 MOA) and I have decided on a load that is pushing them 3580 fps from the .257 WSM. I hope to shoot a deer with them tomorrow to test the integrity of the bond. Impact velocity could vary from 3500 to 2600 at 400 yds....we'll see...
BTW --Nosler rep gave the BC at .418, if anyone is interested...

I figure they'll do better than .75" at 100 if I have time to find the sweet spot... I have a hunch it'll be somewhere around 3400-3450 fps. This 3580 fps load is near max, but I didn't have time to play around with the data, as the season re-opens tomorrow...

So far so good.
It's showing promise in my 26" 257 Wby Accumark.
.401" 3 shot group.
Weather was clear and 45 degrees.
Work up Load:
Weatherby brass neck sized with Lee die.
CCI-250 primer
75 Grains of RL-25
OAL 3.330
Velocity 3565 fps --- ES 23 fps
This is a very mild load in my rifle. I still have a ways to go with the RL-25. It seems to just be starting to work. In a week or two due to the holidays I will finish wringing out RL-25 with the AB.

[Linked Image]
The spike on the first shot at 73 grains must have been the bore was still wet from cleaning while the barrel was cooling.

From a previous test 73 grains of IMR-7828 put the 110 AB at 3525 for a good safe top load in my rifle. Not quite as good as .401 but .7" for sure. Recovered bullets from clay bank showed about 65% retention and the core is bonded very well to the peeled back copper. Very similar to the Partition as advertised.

Reloading is dangerous. As with any load data it is for entertainment purpose only. Your results may vary.
