Got an email and a call from the "smith" who is doing my duel cylinder 5 shooter .41 SBH. Said that it is ready to be shiped but he wanted to hold off until Tuesday so he could get pictures taken to be posted to his website. Seem that those who have seem it feel that it should be posted to his site. He is calling it "The Green Machine". My baby is going to be a star. Crawfish.....hey you going to tell us who is doing "the green machine" for you? What is the second cylinder..... .41 GNR perhaps?? If your smith is Mr. GNR himself you are in for the gun of your life. I had Gary Reeder do a 5.5" Long Colt Hunter in .41 Magnum with the extra .41 GNR cylinder earlier this year. It is a great shootin machine....Bob

That be the guy. I was told about Gary Reeder by Paco Kelly. I was picking Paco's brain for info on heavy .41 caliber bullets and loads. He suggested that if I wanted to shoot the ultmate BIG .41 pistol that Gary had a wildcat (.41GNR#2)I might like (I do). The Contender barrel in .41GNR#2 lead me to the custom SBH.
When I talked to Gary about building a revolver I asked about his Kodiak Magnum only in .41. Said he could that. Then I muddied things up a bit. I asked for a duel 5 shot in .41RemMag and .41GNR dressed in CAMOUFLAGE. Told him about the bake on stuff that Brownell's has. We talked about it and he decided to give it a go. I haven't seen it yet. It is going to be shipped today overnight air. He told me when I talked to him on the 17-18JUL that it had turned out real well. My first post is what has happened since that call on 17-18JUL.
I was hopeing that the pictures would be posted by late on Monday so I could get a look at it. Guess I'll have to wait until it gets to the house.
