Hey everybody, look at what a great winter driver weezy is!!
Did she at leat fill it with gas? At lesat it wasn't mama's Expedition, or Dad's new rig....with this little incident, I'm guessing she won't be driving either anytime soon. It's OK Weezy...we still like ya, but we're going to tease the hell out of you. Not for too long, probably just forever.

Ham Lake, eh? I moved from Andover, Ham Lake's neighbor to the west. Anything you need to know about that part of town, I will gladly share. Like dont count on Hwy 65 during rush hour! Radisson is a much better choice.
Now you will be right by Thorne Bros! Prepare to be poor after your first visit there! I will introduce you to the boys there, you will fit right in.

Andover is in the running too. I need to be able to build a shop in the yard, are these towns friendly to that? I'm not going to run a busniess, but I want to play around with the boat and the truck in the winter months.

I think Ham Lake is more friendly to that type of stuff than Andover. I dont know the rules in Andover, maybe there too. In general though, Ham Lake is more rural and Andover thinks they are the Edina of the North. That is nice in some ways, not nice in others. Andover has a new YMCA, a new high school, etc.

Now for the main cut, done perfectly in my opinion, it took in some good oak smoke flavor too. My boy brought it down on the mountain last fall. Tonight we are certainly enjoying the results of that hunt. Sometimes the hunt doesn't end in the field. Sometimes it ends at the table, one piece at a time.

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Thanks for asking.

Stan, I got up this morning & did a few exercises while coffee was brewing (kind of a contradiction I know, exercise & coffee) Anyways, Im really asking for it by saying this but, I turn 40 this summer & I kind of want to be in half way decent shape. I wont get back to where I was when I was in my mid 20s but Id like to be a little better off for a few things like a possible boundary waters canoe trip this summer with the kids again. 2 years ago I did pretty good carrying canoe & pack on long portages & I can still dig hard with a canoe paddle all day long, but I did go a little backwards in endurance on those portages with a canoe on my shoulders. I also know from our last elk trip that Im slipping some. So, I have a few months here before I turn 40 to try & better myself a little, well see I guess.

Man, I got to get out and start walking again. Packed on the pounds this winter.
