Well, I bought this scope brand new in November of 2004. It's about as close to brand new as you'll find. I need the cash for some new stuff, so it's up for sale.
No trades. $410 shipped (insured) to your door in the lower 48. PayPal is PREFERRED!!
Still available, and price dropped to $400. I'll pay Priority Mail shipping and insurance in the lower 48.
The scope has spent most of its life on rimfires. A couple of days ago I took it off of a .243 Ackley, where it had been for approximately 60 rounds. It has been mounted in Leupold rings that were aligned and lapped, and then lined with painter's tape. There are no ring marks on the scope.
Price isnt out of line on either of your scopes. Lots of broke people these days though. Lots of people are like me and only buy something if it's a steal. Your price is certainly fair, not quite a steal yet!
warpig, thanks for the reply! I grew up kinda poor. If I buy something new, I try to keep it like new for as long as I own it, and I try to price it fairly if and when I ever sell it. I guess the economy is just bad right now if you can't sell a like new Leupold with a lifetime warranty for $75 to $100 less than it costs to buy it new.
