Yeah I heard the walleye fishing pretty much shut off all over the lake after Sat morning.

Going out to the garage to put the new carpet in the golf cart. It is looking pretty good. We started putting it back together lastnight. We still have to get the head lights, tail lights, and the marine sterio for it yet.

Later I will go into Detroit Lakes to pick up the Chickenbuck apparel that is done. The blaze hats are still on backorder. Will let you all know when they finally come in.

Not pink, Dave, but darn near as bad. It's a light lavender. You should have seen the clerk, he was busten a gut watching me trying to make up my mind. He'd throw in comments like, "there you are in a bar in your blaze orange with that camera around your neck, good thing you've got your rifle to protect you".

I'd spray paint it, but would end up screwing up the electronics. I'm just telling everyone it's my wifes, mines broke.

Think I've got an idea for a new series for the History Channel. You've seen Ice Road Truckers? We could call this one "Ice Road Fisherman". Main characters are the Shaw family plus friends. Need help with the plots so I'll throw that out for ideas to our collective membership.

Done? You need to saw out some chunks of ice big enough for 2 holes. Keep them in the freezer and fish through them in the summer. A guy could run 2 lines that way.

That means you've got 9 months to come up with the plots.

Camera is fine. It's the color I don't like. Wally World only has them in Light Lavender. You can find them in Silver other places, but you'll pay more.

Model # A1100IS, 12.1 MP's. Originally $149 now $119 at Wally World, if they have any left. BTW I also picked up a 4GB SD card. The one that comes with the camera only holds a small number of pics.

I paid $350 for my Nikon 5 years ago. Prices are over the place for cameras these days. You can get a pretty good one for under $200. You can still dump $500 into a point and shoot too if you want all the bells and whistles.
