Strange, been using for years...had no problems? I use it in 6.5x55,57,7x57,8x57 and 9,3x62.I just got 3 boxes in .22 Hornet. What kind of problems? I do not re-use the brass, simple throw away, primer pockets are tighter than US primers....rifle

Funny, I've had less than no problems with PRVI or S&B in the 9.3x63, 7x57, or .303 British.

I've only used S&B once in my .40 S&W and had MUCH problems. Sizing was completely wrong and at least 50% would not even chamber! Kind of spoiled it for all of my other calibers.

Used it it 9mm, .45acp, 5.56x45, and 7.62x51 with no complaints at all. Shoots pretty clean and functions in all the above weapons without a problem.

Couldn't give me ammo from S&B or PRVI.From shotshell to centerfire I've tried it.There's a reason it's on the discount shelf.

I had great results killing two deer this year with my 7x57 and the 140 gr Prvi ammo. If it's bad, then the deer didn't complain, they pretty much folded up and fell on the spot. It is as accurate in my Winchester as the Federal and Winchester ammo I tried. I'd certainly buy more if I run low and it's available.
I asked a question about the brass several months ago in the reloading section and the folks that responded said that the brass was pretty decent also.

I've used this brand and Sellier and Bellot handgun ammo (9mm) without any feed or ejection problems. Accuracy was on par with anything else I shoot (Hard to tell the difference at such short ranges).
I was told by someone over at SAAMI that the rifle ammo does not follow their specifications so I shouldn't use it in an older Military Mauser action.

Rich I've never had any problems. With the S&B 173 grain soft point cut edge bullet in my 7X57 I sent a deer to the happy hunting grounds as if lightning had struck him.

I've used Prvi in 223, 22/250, 7 mag and 300 WM, no problems and accurate. 1 inch groups in the 22/250, 7 and 300 mags.

That's what I took on my elk hunt last Fall, and I'm taking it tomorrow for pigs in GA. So far, it's the most accurate factory ammo I've shot, and it has yet to require a follow-up shot on any critter. FC

Prvi is top quality despite the funny name and box.
I have shot the 77 grain 5.56 and it shoots as well as US made premium brand equivalents.
I have heard their 168gr .308 preforms head to head with the benchmark Federal Gold Medal Match though I have not used it personally.

I always see PRVI and S&B recommended for 6.5x55's. I have used some of it in other guns and have zero complaints. I have heard (unsubstantiated) it is the same as Wolf Gold?

I can agree on that. My 6.5x55 is a Ruger 77 MKII,that seems to hate any American ammo or brass, load with "Eurostuff" and it shoots an 1" or better all day and kills stuff.I only use Lapura or Norma now for reloads...

Prvi used to be marketed here under the Hansen name. I've used it in '06, 223, and 7.2x39 with no problems.

Never used it in a big game rifle but have in an AR. Lots of it and it works great.
I wouldn't even rate it nowhere near S&B stuff which stinks when you shoot it.
Otto is my co-pilot.
