Looks like you had a great day Tzone! Last day for our river fishing here was the 15th. Be a couple weeks before we can start on the Bay. Good Job!

Looked like lots of fun Tzone.

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

That is a heck of an idea. Funny you say that...I just got a phone call at work that made me that the same thing.

I got up late, slept horrible, back is screwed up. Hurried to get a shower, shave etc, try to pick out something decent to wear as I have to present to a tour group of about 40 people at work today... I leave home and the one cat that has been granted the privilege to exist on my property has been walking all over my truck with his muddy feet. Standing on the roof of the cab & sliding down the windshield to the hood leaving muddy cat feet skid marks on the windshield...

So, Im driving along fantasizing about all of the horrible ways one could end a house cat's life when my low fuel light comes on.

I check the miles to empty & decide to drive past the filling station on my way to work because I'm just running too late.

The only radio station I can pull in this morning is our local station that has 2 people that yammer on in a manner that irritates me to the brink of insanity, mindless yammering about the dullest of topics & happenings.... and then my least favorite, the inevitable.... The reading of the local obituaries.

Listen people, I'm on my way to work here. I don't want to go to work, I need to. I'm a slave to it like the rest of the working world and I'm very well aware of the fact that I will continue to do so for many, many years to come... I do not need to be reminded of the alternative which is death. Which is also inescapable, Hello stupid radio people, I don't want to hear who's died & when there funeral is while Im on my way to my place of work where I raise money to fund our recent government's socialist movement to gain further control of my life.

And then, I hit a fuggin deer with my new truck.

Peachy.

Just peachy.

Yeah I should have stayed in bed the whole week. grin I have a feeling that Dave's day will get better and the truck will be just fine.

Someone has to look on the bright side, even though I'm the one who usually is always the "glass half empty" person.

Dave, thats a bummer man! I feel for you now. I know what you mean about that jibber jabber on the radio, nothing worse than that in the morning. Good thing its Friday though. It'll get better man! At least your truck didn't go through the ice like that chevy on the lake yesterday!

I was reading that story, thinking the whole time, you were gonna say you ran out of gas...I was wrong.

Dang Ford trucs are sneaky suckers. I hit a couple deer with mine. Sorry to hear about your truck man, but it can be fixed.

Have a beer on me tonight.

On the bright side, today will get better.
