I'm contemplating a move to Billings from northern Utah for work. I'm familiar with the area, and have been to Billings many times, but never to hunt. I have hunted big game in western Montana, but never east of Bozeman.
How easy is it to find places to hunt around Billings?
Mostly interested in big game both archery and rifle. Also interested in waterfowl and upland game.

There are no game animals anywhere near Billings. Not one......

Access is harder there than in many areas, just due to the fact that Billings is the biggest town in Montana. Be prepared to drive some, and get told no... At least you can see critters around there though. Around here, what the winters don't kill, the wolves eat

its Montana.....if their aint much around Billings....cant be much of a drive to find some.....just find a place that has no off road driving and hike a half mile and your away from 90-95% of hunters....
