If you have no need for changing back and forth between different scopes, the LW Talley rings appear to be the perfect scope mounts in keeping with the overall simple and light package of the A7. I'm in need of a walking rifle for calling coyotes that can double for deer. Thinking I'll go pick up an A7 in 243 Win and go the LW Talley route. I wonder if a Leupold VX-II 3-9x40 would be too bulky for the trim size of the rifle.
pigster, I was thinking the front mount to rear mount spacing on the A7 may differ from the A-Bolt, even though they share the same individual hole spacing of each mount. Could be wrong, but I thought the two piece mounts worked whereas the one piece mounts did not.
