I have a remington 700 with leupold std bases and rings on and I don't have enough room to move my scope forward enough to fit me. What are my options?

Thanks

I use extension rings to remedy such situations.
However, some folks do not like them.

The lop is roughly 13.5". Leupold only shows the extension rings for the front dove tail base and not the back windage base which is the one i need moved.

I have had an extension ring for the rear also. It may have been a redfield, but it would work on your bases, same heighth of course.

So the redfield rings would fit the leupold bases? Also would their ring heights match up?

In my experience, Leupold, Burris and Redfield dovetail windage mounts and rings are interchangeable

They are the low rings.

What scope are U using?
The solution is either extension rings, or a different scope.

I have an extension rear ring, but it is a medium.
That is why I asked about the heighth. The dovetail part broke off the front ring, but still have the rear. Wrong heighth for you application.

I am mounting a leupold VX-L 50 mm. I wonder if i might have to go with the leupold dual dove bases so I could use there extension ring on the back? The talley base might be an option just wish I knew how much they would move me forward. I cant find a rear redfield extension ring in low, only med and high.

You can't flip the rear Talley base around - it blocks the bolt from operating.

How much extra room are you looking for?
