The two that i use the most are a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in 204 Ruger with a sightron 2.5-10x44 scope on it.

This one is my favorite though. Old remington 700 22-250 with a leupold rifleman 3-9x50 scope

Remington 700 VTR .223 custom camo sprayed by my dad, it is an off brand illuminated 6-24x 54mm rect. Love it, run 55grn V-max and have two bang flops with her so far. Call her Miss.

10/22 lr in the green Hogue. The black Hogue is holding my 10/22 Mag which also shoots .17HMR after a quick barrel change:

Here's the 10/22 Mag, wearing the .17HMR barrel:

Here's my Ruger #1V .22-250:

And for whatever reason, I can't seem to find a pic of my Wby .22-250 Varmint Special...I'll edit this if I can dig one up.

DeerTracker, that kinda looks like Ear Mountain in the background. Spent a few years in the Choteau area myself, used to farm up off the Conrad Cutoff on 16 Road. I'm sorta old school when it comes to coyote hunting. A couple of 1915 vintage Savage 1899s one in .22 High Power, the other, .250-3000.

If you run into Fuzz Armstrong or Tim & Sherri at the Sinclair Station, tell them their old neighbor Matt says hey.

Its crazy how many people on here know about Choteau! I know Tim and Sherri for sure. My dad used to plow snow for him in the winter. How close did you live to Pendroy? My grandpa has 700 acres right at the corner of the pendroy highway and the highway to browning. 1000s of gophers out there. Ear Mt is just to the right of the mtns in the picture. It was taken out on some property on the road to Pishkun.
Here is Ear Mnt for ya. Killed this one the same morning as the one in my first pic. Called him into 10 yards before i shot it.

DeerStalker, My place had a great view of the mountains. It was about 5 miles out of town past the airport and Boumas. I miss the place, but I had too much going on to keep up with the farming there too.

these two get the most use:

10/22 with a cheap arse scope i pulled off some rifle i bought in a pawn shop
[Linked Image]

i gave my wife hell for buying this damn thing but it works real well up close and personal on charging gophers.....Rossi 410 in youth configuration.....
[Linked Image]

for 'yotes and the like i use whatever "deer rifle" i have handy.....

It's a good thing you didn't read the thread on how unreliable, inaccurate, and inadequate AR's are before you took yours hunting. laugh

Nice shooting and nice pics.

Mine is a Czech '98 Mauser chambered to 257 AI with a Pentax Pioneer 4.5-14x42mm AO:

...but I just picked up a new one in 6mm-250 Savage that I'm looking forward to working with. I'll likely just put a Burris FFII 3-9x40mm w/ their Ballistic Plex reticle on that one...

I don't have any pictures and I am new to this predator game but I just picked up a Ruger Hawkeye in 6.5 creedmoor today to try on coyotes and deer. What do you all think? I'm still trying to figure out what scope to put on it. Any suggestions or thoughts? Les
