Regarding my Remington 572 ADL, .22 pump action; when using open sights, I am unable to hold the rifle
against my shoulder and position my eye in line with the front and back sights. The only way I can position myself to see the sights in line with the target is to either turn my head sharply to the side so that my eye is behind the rear sight, or to hold the gun away from my shoulder so that I can position my line of sight from behind the sights. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this gun a youth style for a smaller person? Any solutions?
