Hello all, I bought a 336 today from a friend and there is a hole where the trademark white and black spot is. I guess it fell out. Does anyone know where I can get one to replace it??? Thank's Joe

Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

Marlin sent me long enough to cut off and use for three or so bullsyes. Mighty nice of them.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised at how long of a piece they send.
Don't throw away whatever's left over as Remington decided to quit installing the bullseye on new Marlins. That little plug of plastic might be valuable some day. Not so much valuable in dollars but just good to have.
IIRC there is a thread somewhere in 24hcf about a good way to install the new bullseye, complete with pictures. Not sure if it's in lever rifles or gunsmithing. Couldn't find much out on the web but maybe I just didn't put the right words in google.

I got a new to me 30TK and it doesn't have a bullseye, should I add one, do they shoot better?

Did the 30TK have one originally? Birch stock looks refinished, not replaced?

Only walnut and a few lams got bullseyes. Birch did not.
