Anybody had a 30/30 336 Ackleyed? If so how did it work out and who did the work? Are/were there feeding issues? Would you do it again?

I've been thinking of doing it because I have a set of dies I picked up for one.
from what I hear its pretty easy to do, and lots of guys have done it with good success. I brought this up last year and had some guys suggest going with a 307 instead, although the 336 isn't well suited for it, and after loading down for the rifle, you would be at 30-30AI velocities, at least that's what I was told.

from what I hear its worth the transition to AI, I just haven't done it yet.

i did one for a fellow several years ago. it fed fine and shot well. he actually made a plug for the magazine tube to make it a 2 shooter. one in the tube and one in the chamber. he used pointy bullets and did it as a safety precaution.
