Great news Muffy.

Spent Thursday on the Wolf River with my brother and his 6 year old grandson. What a day! Temp was around 83 degrees. Nothing was biting except the mosquitos. All we caught was one very small White Bass (6 inches). Water temp was 50 degrees and the Walleyes are up in the marshes spawning.

If these temps hold the White Bass run will be in full swing by next weekend.

Dang things are out already here Dave. I had a wood tick last week too.

If we get rain we're supposed to today, it will be green here. The leaves are budded out, the popples have tiny green leaves on em. With some rain, this place will be pretty lush.

Neighbor just pulled a tick off his dogs ear this morning. I hate them things. Especially the deer/bear ticks.

classes called off for today, I'm gonna head to the range and do some shooting. I've been going through withdrawls lately. I need to burn some powder!
tried fishing for Cats the other afternoon, too early they haven't started moving up stream and getting aggressive.

can't wait to get the chickenbuck stuff! haven't posted here much, but I am popping in and reading time to time.

ahhh, laser pointers. Love them. Great for exercising the dog in the rain or winter. I stay inside, she chases the red dot until my arm gets tired!

I can't speak for CBF but I'll have a cold one ready for ya Muffy! We are in San Diego until Sunday night though.
