I was at a gunshow in S.Texas about '78 and a 357 went off;it was the dealers fault before they had stringent rules at the door.Luckily the only injury was some concrete shrapnel. As far as accidental discharges go I've seen more then my share but my favorite was as I was waiting to go out hunting on a day-lease near Laredo,Texas with about 20 other hunters. A father/son duo pulled up and as the dad reached into the back seat BOOM! His first words were "I didn't know it was loaded". If I had been him I would have left right then! Then I saw a guy shoot a hole thru his buddy's p/u bed, barely missing the gas tank.I guess the bottom line is that when I see a muzzle pointed my way there's going to be a problem. One guy at a show was carrying a 700 over his neck with his arms over the barrel and butt and when I complained his girlfriend almost kicked my rear! I probably got off the subject but we all need to be careful, not only of ourselves but of other people. Kix
