Just got one from him. It looks and sounds great. The pic is of my 10 year old with the logo of his favorite college football team (gators). Being a tide fan, I was reluctant to let him get this on there but what can I say. To answer questions, I have lots of different types of strikers, I make a one piece laminated that is fantastic on all surfaces (really loud), my favorite is a purpleheart striker with a cherry handle, sounds great, I like hickory with a maple handle for a raspy tone. Let me know if you want any.
