OP n2daddy Campfire Greenhorn N Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 52	By no means do I condone only owning 4 rifles but if you had to have only 4 what would they be? Mine: 22-250 Rem 257 Roberts 7X57 Mauser (but could easily switch for 280 Rem) 338 WM Of course this would be the list today!!

countryboy73 Campfire Member C Joined: Feb 2010 Posts: 109	.22LR small game, up to WT deer in a pinch, target practice cheap. .223- M4 carbine for property defense, varminting. .30-06- Anything bigger than a rabbit in the lower 48, and even small game with reduced loads. .45-70- I like it, it works- on everything that walks, my close range hammer for dangerous game.

While a 12 ga isn't technically a rifle (original question criteria), I would gladly trade in one rifle choice for a solid 12 ga pump shotgun.
