yes you are correct... but i did a sample strenth test and my improved seam does do remarkably better in a tensile strength tear test. i will be using it from now on.

Well, I'm familiar with tensile strength testing--what equipment did you use to measure the tensile strength of your seams? How many tests did you run? And how did you come by the tensile strength of your competitor's seams?

And how does this:

equate to "50% stronger than anything on the market?"

Can I give a tent with the new seam a trail run? I'll post the results here.

Nah, I think your salesmanship sucks, but you seem confident enough.

I'll be visiting a fellow member that has some of your stuff soon. I'll just look at that.

No. But I do know bullsh** when I see it. It ain't rocket science.

Just admit that your claim of "50% stronger than anything on the market" is unsupported, and move on. Hell, it wouldn't be the first time you came on here and talked out your ass, so what's the big deal.

So out of curiosity, what stitch does your new machine do? Zig-Zag?

Nah, that's gotta be either the brand of rolling papers on the work bench or the path he takes to get to the sewing machine.

Sorry, couldn't resist, but hey, wyo plays that up himself so it's fair game. His tents do look like a pretty good product, and I don't doubt that the seams are stout.

Hell, I might be interested in one myself if he'd just stop telling me to eat sh** and kiss his ass.

To be quite honest,I couldn't trust a product bought by my hard-earned dough that was thrown together at home by a person who for all I know makes his tents drunk, makes posts to his potential customers in this way, and generally acts like an idiot.
