anyone ever try it? I have had inserts fixed with hot melt glue pull out in the targets and was told to try 2 stage epoxy for carbon arrows...picked up this gorilla epoxy - says impact resistant but it's also solvent resistant...

Works fine. I tend to use super glue, or the same glue I use on my fletching.

I have used 24hr/two ton epoxy for a long time and have never had a problem. It works better than the hot melt in my experience. I use it on both inserts for carbon/aluminum and the glue on points/heads for my wooden arrows.

If your planning on shooting broadheads into the targets. JB weld will not let go of them.
