Had the opportunity to plink a beached floater a few years ago. Those 285s flipped that stinker like a 100 pound pancake - every time. Perrty impressive! grin

Depends on what your going to shoot with them..Its pretty hard to flaw a 375 anything on deer and elk, its easy on Buffalo, Hippos and elephant...I am not a 285 gr. Speer fan for the most part on the stuff I use them on. I like the Noslers, Northforks, Woodleighs much better.

guys,

thanks for your answers.

i was thinking mostly for bears and moose and was trying to make a 2500 fps for my ruger something like a .366 speeds not that much speed so was thinking the speer wont be that bad ...

I say the question is whether you already have paid for the bullets. If you have a bunch on hand, use them up. They'll be fine for any thing short of Africa. If you haven't already bought them, you might want to go with one of the newer bullet designs.
