I have wanted an accurate and fun rifle. I was woundering if the aftermarket barrels and triggers in cabelas are worth the money or is there something better? What kind of accuracy could I expect out to 100 yds?

For pure 100yd rimfire accuracy,I'd do a 17Hummer bolt gun.

For [bleep] and giggles,I'd twist up a 10/22. The aftermarket stocks and barrels are loot well spent IMHO and you'll certainly realize a performance increase.

Bang for the buck,it's hard to top a BC barrel and a Hogue stock. 1" 100yd groups in fair conditions, wouldn't be inordinate, with selected ammo tailored to the system.

Love them 10/22's!......................

The 10/22's are a hoot to plink with if you can get them away from the kids. the attachment is of a 10/22 with a butler creek fluted bbl. and stock. My daughter realy likes this one so I'm going to wip up another one for me.
