With the Cinco de Mayo only a few days around the corner and what will prove to be an onslaught of protests by illegal aliens inside our own borders, I felt compelled to spell out what I�ve been thinking in regards to reform that would fix our country on several fronts. I determined that as a country, if we even still wish to remain what we once were, will need to implement what I�ve coined �The 90 Day Plan�.



History and human nature have proven more times than not that ultimatums are extremely effective in providing results when implemented correctly. First, a definitive wrong must have occurred and then of course be counteracted with a definitive right, coupled with a distinct and strict timeline as to the punishment that will be carried out. In other words, when you tell your child who�s beating on their sibling incessantly that they must cease and desist or else corporal punishment is imminent, a couple of things must happen. First, the child must do as they are told or they know that they will suffer the punishment. Next, as the punisher and parent, you must be willing to follow through with the threat.

Human nature in our earliest years, as well as through much of our adulthood is to test the very theory of whether or not the punishment will indeed be carried out and or if the punishment is so bad that it would preclude us from doing the deed once again, if given half the chance.



Lets first examine the �Wrong� that has occurred, which is multi-faceted, but far from complicated. Our country has been for many decades overwhelmed and overridden with illegal immigrants that have stolen jobs, homes, heath care and school classrooms, to just name a few. I say stole, because that is the only way you look at it when people have come here illegally, despite their reasoning and or good intentions. I don�t blame them for wanting to better their lives and or the lives of their children, but I cannot and will not condone their actions because of the way they went about it. Come here through the proper channels and learn our culture, language and why we have so much pride for our country, then you can begin to understand this issue in the way that I do.



The next �Wrong� we have is nearing three generations of entitlement families. Moms, dads and even grandparents that have never known what it was like to not receive a hand-out. No Welfare. No Food Stamps. No government subsidies of any kind. The majority of our young people are quite familiar with what is involved in signing up for social services and filing for unemployment. We have people right now in our state on unemployment that have been doing so for nearly two years or more. That�s a career of not working and getting damn used to it.

When people can sit on the couch and watch TV while collecting an unemployment check and or collect money for going to school in a career they�ll most likely never have, rather than going after a job, we have a real problem in this country.

There are tens of thousands of people who are out of work that don�t want to be, but there are many who are making it on this system just fine and have been for a very long time before the economy was considered to be bad. Their raises come when the government informs them of it, not their boss.



Tying right into the above �Wrongs� is the fact that our large job market that millions of Americans depended on for so many years to provide them with jobs, has moved overseas. While politicians would love to lay all the blame on the big businesses for doing this, they themselves are the ones to blame more so than the stockholders and CEOs who are looking for profits. Why you ask? Quite simply it is the taxes and the overwhelming costs of doing business within our own borders that has driven business right off our shores. Americans are so quick to complain about the lack of manufacturing jobs and how they keep heading overseas, yet they flock to Walmart by the droves to buy everything under the sun.



Now, this brings us to our �Rights� and what we as a country would all like to see. We need every citizen within these borders to cherish and honor our country, speak our language (English for those wondering), and do so by legal means. Don�t dodge the system, but embrace it and be proud just as our ancestors were of having the opportunity to become Americans, not Latin Americans, African Americans or Martian Americans. Once you�re here legally, honestly and honorably, you�re simply an American and something you should be proud of, regardless of where you came from.



The next �Right� is that we want everyone to be employed and work for what they have. Spend less time working to pay taxes and more time with their families and enjoying the fact that we live in the greatest country in the world that would allow us the opportunity to pursue any occupation we desired. We are unique in that any occupation is never truly out of your reach and you can make as little or as much as you desire, depending on how bad you want it. We want to take an idea and turn into a small business and not be hamstrung with fees and taxes that are so overwhelming that our chances of success are slim to none before we even get started, thus deterring us from the venture in the first place.



Lastly, we want Freedom�.Freedom to decide our own fate and the fate of our families. The freedom to decide how our money is spent and what are children are taught in schools. Freedom to make choices about the foods we eat, the air we breathe and not have to first have approval of the federal government to any of the above. We want the freedom our forefathers envisioned, promised, delivered and hoped wouldn�t be squandered later just as they have been.



So now you know what�s wrong and what needs to be right, it�s now time to explain how it needs to be done, since the Federal Government has come in first place consistently at failing to do just that.





It�s quite simple really. Invoke the following rules and repercussions to follow if said rules are not followed within 90 days.



To all illegal aliens residing within the borders of the United States of America, you have 90 days to gather your belongings and move back to your home country, or any country that would have you. During this time you will not be detained for your illegal presence within our country and will be given every opportunity to leave on your own accord. If after 90 days you remain illegally in our country, you will be tried, convicted and sent to work in our Southern Border Fence Building Project, where you will serve out your 10 year punishment, at which time you will be returned to your home country and denied the opportunity of legal entry into our country for the remainder of your life.
To all employers of illegal aliens, you have 90 days to terminate all employees who are known to be illegal and forbidden to hire anymore from this moment forward. No punishments will be enforced until after the 90 day grace period, at which time a Felony conviction and 20 years of hard labor will be mandated, serving the first portion at the Southern Border Fence Building Project.
All illegal aliens are required to first pass all necessary tests to become an American Citizen and speak our language (English) fluently prior to entrance into the United States.
If your child is born here and you are not a United States Citizen, neither is your child.
To all of those sucking off the Welfare System, you have 90 days to go find a job and start paying your fair share. Credible sources tell us there�s a lot of job openings coming up in the next 90 days.
To all CEOs and shareholders, you have 90 days to invoke a solid plan to bring industry back to our country. As an incentive, you�ll be tax free for the first 6 months and receive a 10 year significant tax break by doing so. Failure to bring these businesses back into the United States will result in tariffs that will be imposed, far exceeding any savings you might be experiencing now for operating your company outside of our borders.
All inmates in all states residing within the United States of America will be forced to work on the Southern Border Fence Building Project. No more will your lives be confined to weight rooms, basketball courts and cable TV. You committed a crime and Sheriff Joe has a tent and pink undies waiting on you in Arizona.
All income tax paid into and by the citizens of this country will be refunded by the Federal Reserve, which will have approximately 90 days to step down and step out of our monetary system. That income tax will be at the discretion of the individual tax payer as to how it is spent. If you have been living off of welfare for up to six months, you will be entitled to half of what you�ve put in. If you�ve been on welfare for greater than six months, thank you for your donation to our new nation.
Federal and State Income Tax will now be illegal and unconstitutional and punishable by death for any politician or elected official to even consider bringing it back. Government will be allotted its funds by the fair and just taxing of goods bought and sold and by the percentage of tax withheld from the profits of businesses after first being voted upon by the people of this nation.
All personal property tax will no longer be collected by any state for housing, machinery or any personal property of any kind.
All citizens that wish to vote will be required to complete a voter qualifications test, one in which your understanding of politics and current events that relate to the candidates in question and bills being voted on are tested. Failure to score 70% or higher on this test will result in your vote being null and void. You will not be allowed to take this test more than once per Election Day, so educating yourself in the subject matters and people involved is encouraged.
Tampering with any voting process in the attempt to sway any election will result in a felony conviction and 20 year sentence in our luxurious tent city where you will have the distinct pleasure of helping work on our Southern Border Fence Building Project.
Term limits will be imposed on all elected officials, regardless of their position for a period of 2 terms, not lasting more than 8 consecutive years. If after serving for 8 consecutive years, any elected official must wait 8 additional years before returning in the attempt to be reelected, which would then only be for 1 term of 4 years.
All retirement benefits will cease for all elected officials, except for the President and Vice President of the United States.
To all unions, you have 90 days to disband and remove yourself from the workforce. While your early works many decades ago proved invaluable to shaping of our working nation, your most significant achievement in recent years has been to break the bank of every business you�ve come in contact with. Laws to protect the worker, not coddle the worker are in place and won�t require your presence any longer. Workers will once again be paid and promoted on their skill and performance, rather than their union bosses� ability to cut a deal.
The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution will be amended to read, All citizens of the United States are required to own and be properly trained in the use of no less than 1 firearm per household. A firearm may be a handgun, rifle or shotgun which uses a modern metallic cartridge as a means of propellant, or the most advanced means of personal protection afforded by modern technology that most closely resembles our 21st Century firearms. No restrictions on the carry of such arms shall be invoked to cause any citizen to be unarmed at any time, less the confines of a court of law. Silencers, suppressors and the means to make capable any firearm to be fire more than one round at a time with the pull of the trigger shall also not be infringed. Any arm capable of doing so, may be carried concealed without the issuance of a CCW permit in any State. To ensure the security of our great nation, it is imperative that we not only have the weaponry to defend it, but the knowledge and capability to do so.
Bring our troops home and issue the ultimatum of cease all aggressions towards the United States and our Allies or face the threat of a nuclear attack within 90 days. If Islamic extremist wish to continue this battle we will clear them from the planet and declare their soil our own, at which time our oil will become much cheaper. If they wish to profit from selling us oil, they�ll need to first lay down their arms against us and begin the process of reconciliation.






Now, what we�ve accomplished is:

Freeing up jobs and getting people off the couch and into the work place.
A better environment to substantially increase job growth.
Increasing our tax revenue by taxing the goods bought and sold and having more people doing just that
Increasing the taxes that big businesses pay, while increasing the workers in our country.
Giving back the taxes the Federal Reserve and IRS has stolen from us to reinvest in new jobs and good sold, thus increasing tax revenues.
Teaching a generation and more to come what it�s like to fend for themselves and live the American Dream
Accept responsibility for our actions and live a better quality of life
Get government off our backs and out of our pockets
Ending a costly war that is a burden on our children�s children and their pocketbooks.




Most of this in 90 days is completely plausible and all of it within six months. In six years our country would be stronger than ever and the fear of an economic downturn would never again rear its ugly head. America would once again be the utopia of prosperity that it once was, rather than a shell of its former self.



Pass this on to as many people as you can if you believe that we would be better off than we are now by implementing the 90 day plan.

A few folks were somewhat confused about how I felt about the issues. I suppose this should clear most of that up for them.

The money someone thought they saved by having illegals do their landscaping, the cost of a house saved by having illegals do the drywall, the marble. The money not spent by having illegals work in the agriculture/meat processing industry. Well all that "saved" money is comming out tenfold in taxes to provide for the illegals. How's that working out for everyone?

Not a bad plan, Matt. I'm sure if adopted it would be subject to some fine tuning---but it's at least a constructive plan to start from...better than what we have in place now.
