Love the 10/22's She did pretty good, 50 yd range. We're going to do an Appleseed this summer. This is her first time shooting at paper, I think she did just fine.

I am glad to see you are starting her out right! By the smile on her face she looks like she had a great time!

That's good stuff. If the weather holds I'm gonna bring my boys to the range tomorrow evening. Nothing better than time with the kids.

Way to go Ken! Girls can shoot with the best of them. My daughter can still outshoot her brothers. It is a good way to spend time with them, because they get busy and priorities change as they hit the teen years.

Good on ya! Looks like a happy kid. I took my seven year old grandson to an Appleseed shoot last weekend and he (and I) really enjoyed it. Time well spent. Let us know how it worked out for ya'll.
The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.

ken, put a tech sight on for her and you. it will make a world of differance in her open sight shooting. i set up a 10/22 for appleseed and was thouroghly inpressed with there set up. and get a cheap usgi web sling $12 i think. i was amazed how well i shot with the sling. elbow pads, make sure you have elbow pads. oh, and 2 mags. preferably clear. you will load 2 and 8 alot. I had a ball.
