I hunted at The Quail Shed for the first time last year and shot my largest buck to date with a bow. There were four in our party and another guy also shot his largest buck to date. The other two guys had bucks in excess of 150" well within bow range. Out of those two, one guy could never get a shot and the other guy made a non fatal shot. His arrow went just under the skin on the bucks back. I saw 4 other bucks out of the same stand, all within 100 yds., and all were 140"+. I was doe hunting then. The cost of a 6 day hunt last year was $2500. This year the cost has been lowered to $1800.
