Hello,

I am new to BPCR. I have a 40-65 on a Browning Lo Wall. Yes it is a low wall. Action was originally a .243 but I have rebarreled it to 40-65. I would like recommendations on a bullet to use that I can use for silhouette, gong and general dirt clod shooting. Has anyone tried Mountain Molds? He offers to make any mold design that you can create using his online program.

The two most used moulds at the BPCR Nationals were made by Paul Jones of Southern Calif and Steve Brooks of Montana. They both make excellent mounds. I have several of each. They are pricy but worth it. Remember you get what you pay for. Jones has a web site, I am not sure if Brooks has one or not.

I shoot a Paul Jones Creedmoor in my .40-65. Very accurate. You can probably buy some to try from Buffalo Arms, and there are other folks who sell pre-cast bullets. Not all are of the same quality, though. Most BPCR shooters cast their own.
