How many others own and shoot these little lever guns? The 94-22 Trapper is one handy little rim fire. My favorite of the Win lever 22's

Here's mine, which is new to me. I like it a lot; good size and accurate.

Nice rifle, wise move to hang onto it. After looking at this I checked gunbroker and there is one 9422 Trapper going to sell in about an hour for $850. At least that's the current bid, it could go higher.

Don't have a .22 lever action but do have a Marlin .45 Colt with a 16" barrel. These little carbines sure do handle nice!

I also have the Marlin Model 39 lever made back in the 70's without the idiot cross-bolt safety.

Had one and gave it to my Daughter after her standard model 94-22 was stolen in a home break in.

Still miss this little gun.

Am hoping to pick up a standard model and trade her someday.

Presently have a 94-22 Legacy and 94-22 mag. in the lam stock.

These are some of the best rimfires that Winchester ever built.

What's the difference in the models? Legacy, for example. My first 94-22, don't know much about them.

I'm not a Winchester expert, but IIRC, the main thing about the Legacy is it has a curved grip on the buttstock.

Legacy has a pistol grip and is checkered, plastic straight buttplate. Classic has a pistol grip and isn't checkered with a steel buttplate.

That's what I could glean from the net.

The Legacy also has a 24" barrel.

Mine must be one of the last to leave the Winchester factory. It seems to be made from left over parts. I

It has a 22 mag. loading port, and is 22LR,

I bought it NIB like this.

I have a 9422 Trapper, and 2 siblings, a Legacy 9422M and beater 9422, the beater was a rust stick when I found it.

I love them... grin

Several Marlin 39s in my collection including a 39TDS which is the brother to the 9422 trapper. Looking to add a 9422 trapper in 22 Mag. There are three on GB now with silly prices.

My first rifle in 1963 was a Marlin 39A. 7 yrs. ago I found a 39M and 2 yrs. ago I found a 9422. The 9422 had a couple of bad rust spots on it, but I cleaned it up and mounted a receiver sight to the scope grooves. It is probably the smoothest of the lot.

I have a 9422m trapper spotted, but he wants $900 for it. Thats a little pricey I think.
