Well, if you've read the posts about our hunt with Kei River Safari, I need not say more, other than to add it was an AWESOME week there. NO high fences (as stated in some spoil sport reports on this forum earlier). We WORKED our butts off for some of these animals, my Kudu in particular, walked up and down mountains for two days searching for this guy. Anyway, we took some good animals home with us, and for my first trip to Africa, I couldn't have asked for better hosts (Andrew and Sharon Renton) better food (Kudu, Eland and bushbuck steaks), or more challenging hunts or finer PHs!! Shots were between 100 and 270 yards for me. Here's the hardware that I got involved with, 7 animals total. Apologies for the quality of these photos, the good photos were like 1,000MB in size or something God awful big.......

FUN HUNT, I'm hooked, boys!!!!

Ahhhh.... Bushbuck! I've only taken one but it was one of my most memorable hunting experiences.

Cheers!

It looks like you had a great time, Myke! You gonna put your pix up by mine at the clubhouse?

Thanks fellas!!!! Yeah, the outfitter told me that the Blesbok was a "Gold Medal" animal. We didn't really put the tape to anything, plenty of time to do that after they dry out. The wife wants me to mount the Blesbok, and I think I'll also be mounting the Kudu, Impala and Bushbuck, the rest will be Euros.

Calif. Hunter......WHAT pic are you talking about at the clubhouse and (sorry) who are you? Sure, I'll be glad to post these suckers up on the board next meeting smile
