I hate to hear when a cop gets gunned down or something stupid like that and he has little kids at home.
Cops are good......I'm sure there are a few bad ones, but I havent ever met one yet.

Cops are good......I'm sure there are a few bad ones, but I havent ever met one yet. Lucky man. May Officer Murphy rest in peace.

sorry Bobby, I just got a look at the puter after running chainsaw all day (dang that's tough work for an old cuss)
I know it has to be discouraging to some of our present and past LEOs to see some of the cop bashing threads on here, but I hope you don't let a minority skew what I believe most folks on the campfire feel about cops.
In a word I think most of us are grateful for the good work good cops do.
I don't know how you could pay me enough to deal with drunks, hookers, domestic violence situations. Even writing speeding tickets I wouldn't like. But all of those need to be done, thank goodness someone does that dirty work.
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
