Saturday June 19th at The High Ore Range i am putting on a shoot. The range is located 2 miles south of Boulder, Mt on I15. Sign up at 9:30am and shootin by 10:00am. $10 per shooter. 20 rounds for the match. Bring extra if ya want to stay an play.  Targets are paper Elephant, Buffalo and Lion. Scored by kills and time. Caliber starts at 9.3 and goes up. Bolt action, double, single shot, lever, bring it and have some fun. I have a class for it, i'm sure.  Any questions just ask. Hope to see ya there.

I plan to run such a thing here in Phoenix!!! where do you get targets?!?!? I have the 1/3? scale 2'x3' paper targets from Safari Press, https://www.safaripress.com/product.php?productid=767&cat=300&page=1 but I really would like to get full sized elephants etc, I have 6' square frames I can put them on, I also plan to build a cart to pull a "charging" buff (or other animal) on. oh, and I have to find shooters too.... If it was not Fathers Day weekend I would probably come and play. Got plans for a four generations thing on the 20th. Would love to know about others, though. Thanks for putting one on.

Bill, i have the same buff targets from safari press. I go to one of the local furniture stores and get LARGE cardboard boxes to make proper sized buffalo heads, side view lion, and elephant head. Paint them up and away we go. I've made two carts with large lawnmower wheels. They have good bearings in them and roll very well. As someone once said, " if you build it they will come " Keep it safe and fun is the main thing. Wally

Clint, i'm very glad to here that you can make it.  What do you shoot for a Big Bore? Do you want Motel 6 type or Holiday Inn? There's a wide variety right along the interstate. Plenty of good chow too! Let me know what ya want and i'll try and steer ya right.
