Thought I would offer these to the Savage collector first and then on the general forum if they don't sell...

99H in 30-30, all numbers matching, no sling swivels, believe it to be fruitwood stocks. fantastic bore. Flat top sporting rear sight, Rocky mountain front, pretty good case colors for this old of one... serial is 290641. Some even and light fading to the blue on the bottom but still very good... not even close to bare metal but worth mentioning that its not as vibrant as it once was. No cracks but one very small beginnings of a chip at the tang... had my stock guy fix the same issue on my barrel band 303 and for $40 you can not even see it. Stocks have likely been sanded and refinished at some point but looks good- wood is still proud or flush with metal at all places except at the rear of the forearm. The first three pictures really show the fit.
$650 plus shipping...

Gun 2 is an 99A in 303 with the 24" barrel and integral raised ramp. Marbles tang sight included. All numbers matching, no sling swivels. Bore great! One tight crack at the tang that should be visible just to the left of the tang sight. Bluing is good with just the some loss at the front of the bottom of the receiver. Case colors are faded but still have decent coverage. Serial 3266xx
$625

Shipping on either gun is $25 fully insured and very well packaged with tracking.

Curious if 99H is MP stamped. Someday we will figure out what stamp means.
Nice guns!
Sold two in Canada yesterday at a gunshow. A nice 1899A 30-30 and a 250-3000 rifle with checkered trigger. Miss them already but life goes on!

It was a tough call letting anything go but both guns I sold had imperfections that kept them out of highly collectable status. There wasn't much for sale at show in collectable savages.
The nicest one was a 98% 300 Eg 425XXX range with an asking price of $695. There was also a 60% 99F TD 250-3000 for $595 which would be a nice shooter but never a collectable.
One smartass showed me a Lyman receiver sight for a 99 that he had bought at a yard sale the day before for 50 cents.
Most interesting gun seen that day was a factory engraved 1886 Winchester, 45-90, 80% condition, checkered straight grip, shotgun butt, octagon with half mag, single set trigger which had just changed hands for $15,000.
A few of us "loading tool" collectors were talking about how tools/molds have dried up even more than the guns.

If it weren't for the Homeland Security Regulations stopping export, I'd have liked that 30-30.
